Motorola slvr7 is the best mobile phone in its range of very slim phones. The graceful form of Motorola L7 conceals a digital audio player, an integrated camera, Bluetooth technology and a host of other sophisticated features. The slim design and the feather like weight make it easy to fit into your palms. The display of L7 is brilliant resolution of 176 x 220 pixels, and the presence of 262K vivid colors. The contrast is excellent. The multimedia features include VGA camera, video capture and playback, and 512 megabytes of optional expandable memory. The average battery of Moto L7 is about 2-3 days and the battery is fully recharged in less than 2 hours. The Slvr L7 is versatile enough to let you send text messages and instant messages, and to let you send e-mail via POP3 accounts. The key features of the phone include Quad band (which works almost worldwide), camera, record and play video clips, excellent quality colour screen, built-in MP3 player, polyphonic & MP3 ring tones, hands free speakerphone. The SLVR L7 is for those who look for stunning looks and extreme portability. The polished metal keyboard is topped by a vibrant, glossy display. So if you're shopping for a thin and attractive phone and are a candy bar fan, the Moto L7 is for you.
Apart from looks the phone still manages a good feature set given its pretty-face appeal. Overall it is believed that the Moto SLVR L7 is an improvement on the V3 Razr in terms of operation. It is surely a fashion phone for fashion victims. If you were taken in by the ultra slim and light V3 Razr then you will most likely love the ultra slimmer SLVR L7. This eye-catching thinness is easily the best feature in the Moto L7. Weighing only 85g, you often forget that you've got it in your pocket. Its pretty, sleek, and fairly easy to use for making and receiving calls; and its integration of iPod features is a great added feature. So the Motorola L7 combines superb performance with cutting-edge features

Once Upon A Time, I Hated Shopping - Then I Discovered the Internet
By Lizz Cassidy
I'll admit it right now. I'm one of those few women who hate spending time in shopping malls and at stores. I tolerate it, at the best of times. Of course, it never helped that I could rarely find what I was looking for.
You see, I'm one of those types with very unusual taste in things. Most of the music I like, no one else has ever heard of. Many of the movies I enjoy watching are ones that never get carried in stores around here. And the books I read - well, don't get me started on how frustrating it is to hear about a book and then realize that it's not released in North America. Needless to say, looking to buy a new CD, movie or book can be quite frustrating at times.
It didn't take me long to start shopping online, and even less time for me to realize how much more convenient it can make life. Instead of hunting until exhaustion for something, I can easily go to one of many online stores in order to have it sent straight to my door.
I was a little skeptical at first, not only because a lot of the things I wanted were international, and I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for it, but also because I had heard horror stories about third party vendors who never shipped anything that they had sold.
However, most of my experiences have been quite pleasant. I have found that Internet shopping has allowed me to find a lot of the lesser known items that I couldn't find in stores. The international or independent movies and CDs I could never hunt down in retail stores are usually found in Canadian online stores. This is always nice for the international items. Instead of paying expensive shipping and handling costs for merchandise from a foreign country, I can have it shipped to Canada, from Canada; plus, I don't have to worry about money exchange rates.
I've been lucky and have only had one experience with a third-party vendor that I wasn't really happy with. I had bought a large number of items at the same time from an online store, and only one of them was from the third-party person. Well, it took over 2 months for me to receive that item, which is a really long time considering the rest of the items I had bought had arrived in about 2 weeks time. I realize that the items were coming from different parts of the country and the postal system isn't always super speedy, but that's still a very long time to have to wait for something that you've bought when the rest had arrived in a timely fashion.
Of course there are times when what I want still can't be found in a Canadian store, but if you're willing to deal with the exchange rate, sometimes you can find really great deals internationally. My best find ever was from Amazon UK. A book I was really looking forward to was being released in Europe, but not in North America. Not only did I manage to find it for a lot less money than I would have paid for it here (that's after the shipping costs and money conversion), but it also took almost a month less shipping time than they had told me it would.
The best thing about shopping online is definitely the fact that you can find things that you wouldn't ever be able to find in a physical retail store. Most of the time you don't have to go from one store to another store just to find out that no one carries what you're looking for. With just a few strikes on your keyboard and a few clicks of your mouse, you've got exactly what want.

Acoustic Research Speaker May Just Be The Right Choice For You!
By Glen B. Porter
I have been an audiophile for a long time, but surprisingly, I never had really good sound that I could count on until I got my first Acoustic Research wireless speaker. Before the Acoustic Research speaker, I was using inferior equipment. Although I did not go straight from my first, big, clunky second hand bass speakers with broken cones to the Acoustic Research speaker, the difference was almost as pronounced. Nonetheless, the Acoustic Research speaker was just the last step in a string of slowly improving audio equipment that I had been acquiring since I was very young.
Before I ever saw an Acoustic Research speaker, I tried many other brands. I thought Bose were pretty good, and for a long time they were my favorite. Even now, when I am listening to music quietly to avoid disturbing my girlfriend, I turn off the Acoustic Research speaker and plug in my Bose headphones. But still, nowadays my whole house is wired with Acoustic Research speakers which pipe music to any corner that I want, any time.
It started when I was a teenager growing up in the 70s. This was a long time before there was such a thing as Acoustic Research speakers, or many of the other bands that are popular today. What I had was a pair of second hand speakers which I had inherited from a friend, when he bought his new stereo. He seemed to not think that they were good enough for his use anymore, but for me they were amazing. They had all of the bass that a teenager wants, and a mellow tubey sound that I still find tasteful. Unfortunately, they had many weaknesses including a torn speaker cone that buzzed, and very low treble fidelity. But still, I did really like them, and they did a good job for me all the way through college.
You can even use an Acoustic Research speaker to hear sound outside, as I have done. I have a wireless Acoustic Research speaker which plays music to the patio whenever I am entertaining. It saves me the trouble of having to bring out a boom box, and the sound quality is simply sensational. All of my guests have complemented the good fidelity that an Acoustic Research speaker provides, and many of them have gone on to buy them themselves. I say that they have good taste in sound.

Women's Clothing Sizes: A Man's Worst Nightmare!
By Gabriel J. Adams
One year for my wife’s birthday I decided I would try to buy her clothes as a gift. She usually buys me clothes for holiday gifts, and I really enjoy them, so I thought I would try to return the favor. I went to the mall and walked into one of the stores to try to find some women’s clothing. I asked one of the ladies that worked at the store where the women’s clothing section was, and she asked me what size I was looking for. I was not sure how to answer the question, so then she proceeded to ask me if my wife was a women’s size, a petite, a junior, or a misses. Well I told her that she was a woman, but I am not quite sure what the rest of that stuff means. Little did I know that this was only the beginning of my problems!
Finally after about fifteen minutes of speaking with the sales lady we realized that my wife was probably a women’s size. She walked me over to that section of clothing and I told her that I would look around and let her know if I needed anymore help. Boy did I ever need more help! I expected to see some sizing information on the clothing that would actually tell you something about the size of the clothes. I was wrong. There was nothing about the sizing in the women’s clothing section that made any sense to me. I was looking at some pants for my wife and they said size 12. What the heck does that mean? When I buy pants they say 34 x 36, and I know that the waist is 34 inches and the legs are 36 inches long. I could not tell if the size 12 was the length or the waist, and the 12 did not seem to represent inches either, so I have no idea what it means.
I spent about an hour in the women’s clothing section, and then got discouraged, so I thought I would try to buy a sexy bra for my wife. That sure blew up in my face. When I looked at the bra sizes, I was even more confused than I was when looking at the women’s sizes. The bra sizes actually had letters on them for some unknown reason. Well that year my wife got some earrings and she loved them, so the moral of the story is do not try to buy your wife clothing for her birthday - diamonds definitely are a girl’s best friend!

Beer Gifts For A Beer Love
By Ian Henman
At the risk of sounding stereotypical there is one thing that most men enjoy and can't get enough, beer. Now this isn't to suggest that the majority of males have a problem with alcohol, just that we all enjoy a nice cold brew once and a while. It might be a Belgian white, an Irish stout, or a good German ales there is something for all beer lovers. With the increased popularity in microbreweries and different types of beer, something else has grown in popularity, beer gifts. More or less anything related to beer, mugs, steins, trinkets, and of course beer itself.
A wonderful place to pick up some more trinket like beer gifts is your local Spencer's Gift's. You should have one in your local mall, stop in next time you notice it. They have a vast array of beer related gifts to tickle any beer lovers fancy. From mugs, to novelty gifts it's a great place to find items for a beer lovers office, or den. Now most beer lovers will agree the best beer gift you can give someone who loves beer is beer itself. There are so many microbreweries opening these days, it's pretty impossible that anyone has tried them all. Visit a specialty store in your area and see what specialty beers you can find for that beer lover in your life.
It's strange to say but beer is becoming almost on par with wine for variety. You can get beer in almost any flavor, and from every part of the world. While it will never be as elegant as wine, beer lovers can talk for hours about how their favorite draft is made, and always enjoy trying something new.
If you really want to find original beer gifts for that special someone take the time to search on the Internet. It's probably one of the best places to find original beer gifts, and at a fantastic price. For antique and original mugs, and glasses why not check out ebay. You might even find old advertisements and signs from a favorite beer brand. For more conventional beer gifts there are lots of retailers online that sell mugs, key chains, and the life. Again you'll never go wrong with a fine selection of ales themselves for, but these are all great ideas to get that perfect man or women who can't get enough beer for that special occasion.

Getting to Know iPod Video
By George Wood
You've heard it all over--Apple's iPod Video is the best video player there is. You don't question it anymore because a lot of people claim it is so. But is it, really? Not quite. That honor rightfully belongs to Zen Vision, a Creative Labs product. Zen Vision is every good thing iPod Video is, and more. The size of the screen for video playback in Zen vision is a whopping 3.7" high-resolution screen, which is a lot of steps ahead of the iPod Video's 2.5" screen. On paper, 1.2" may not seem to be such a huge difference, but it really does matter once you're in front of the screen.
Aside from that, Creative Lab players--in which the Zen Vision is included--have something very useful that iPod players don't have--a feature that allows listening to and recording FM radio. In this way, you can catch up on your favorite radio shows any time you want. Creative Lab players also have a built-in voice recorder which is great for taking notes in classes or work; it's also very helpful in giving yourself some reminders every now and then.
Of course, there are some areas wherein the iPod Video reigns supreme. In terms if battery life, iPod Video has 20 hours, while Creative Zen Vision only has 13 hours. To make up for this weakness, Creative Lab offers the option to purchase extended-life batteries, but this will cost you extra.
If you're torn between the Creative Zen Vision and the iPod Video, here's something to consider--the iPod's screen is smaller, but it offers better views even when looked at from different angles. The Creative screen, though larger, is best viewed straight on; when viewed from other angles, the pictures aren't as clear. If your priority is storing music over video, get the iPod Video. However, if your main concern is storing video, and storing music is only a nice additional feature for you, then you’re better off buying Creative Zen Vision.
Nowdays, a digital audio player isn't enough. People are looking for a player that can do so much more than churn out music. As a result, manufacturers are in stiff competition with each other to come up with the latest innovation. As of this moment, the latest is the video player. iPod has one, Creative Lab has one. iRiver also jumped on the video player bandwagon with it U10 video player. iRiver's U10 is a bundle of contradictions. Sometimes, it seems to be the perfect choice for all digital media lovers; sometimes, you just don't have any idea what iRiver folks were thinking when they were designing the player.
Let's begin with the positive. iRiver's 2.2" screen, though smaller than those of iPod video (2.5") and Creative Zen Vision (3.7"), has a higher resolution and quality. The battery life is also something to rave about at 28 hours. That in itself is a good thing, but it's made even better by the price--$199.99 and $249.99, depending on the disk size.
Now let's move on to the negative. The U10 come in two sizes--512MB and 1GB. For music files, these sizes are adequate, but for video files, they mean nothing. Unlike Apple and Creatice, iRiver does not offer video players with a disk size of around 30GB.
Aside from the dismaying disk size, iRiver also has a hard-to-use navigation system which can't hold a candle to iPod's clicking wheel system. You need to have a bit of a techie in you to find your way around iRiver U10. However, most people don't want something that's hard to operate, so in this aspect, iRiver fails to appeal to the pop culture market.
As of now, the iRiver U10 feels like an experiment, something which iRiver will use to decide what the market really wants--is it disk space, battery life, or extra features? Perhaps iRiver is just biding its time, waiting for the perfect moment to release a player that can surpass iPod and Creative. This remains to be seen.
